Working together with Efficiency Manitoba, the North End Community Renewal Corporation (NECRC) and The Chalmers Neighborhood Renewal Corporation (CNRC) are actively engaging with community members to help them save energy and money. Through the Energy Efficiency Assistance Program, eligible customers can receive a low-cost heating system upgrade through Reliable Heating. Learn more here. Effective immediately, all households from within the NECRC and CNRC catchment areas will no longer need to provide any income verification documents along with their EEAP application. This is an enhancement from what was previously allowed, in which this exception was only for those from streets that had been canvassed with the neighbourhood renewal corporations.
